GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community. Join SITD in Giving Tuesday by Donating once or monthly!

Every year, SITD honors outstanding students from Sierra High and Truckee High schools. The students are chosen by their teachers in recognition of their diligence and responsive positive attitude in a particular area of study. They are dependable and a joy to be around.
This year we will have a celebration at each of the respective schools:
At lunch we will introduce each student and read what their teacher has said about them. The 22 students will receive a gift card and a certificate in addition to the lunch we share.
