Lauren Hudson, SITD Parliamentarian, reported on the responsibilities of members at the January business meeting. She noted that all Members should review four documents prior to each business meeting: (1) the agenda, (2) minutes of the business meeting, once reviewed any corrections can be submitted at the business meeting, (3) treasurer’s report to see what funds are budgeted and how they are spent, and (4) the correspondence report which includes all grant requests.
A good rule of thumb would to be to check these documents the day before the meeting. All documents are available on the website, as well as the SITD newsletter.
