Celebrating the Best for Women

SITD's Celebrating the Best for Women Awards Reception showcases our club’s continuity of commitment to women and girls of Truckee, at all stages of their life journey, with programs that embody our great Soroptimist mission.

We will celebrate the recipients of our Violet Richardson Award, which recognizes girls engaged in volunteer action, our signature Live Your Dream Award which gives access to education to women head of household. Our newest program, our Career Advancement Scholarship, provides for continuing education, and finally, our 2025 Ruby Award recipient, locally known as our Women of Distinction. This award honors a woman who has made an extraordinary difference in the lives of women and girls.
