SITD Annual Toy Drive- Box Monitor and Sorting

Yes, it is time for the annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive.  We need volnteers to help with this annual activity.   First we need members to sign up for Box placement, monitoring and pick-up.   We also need volunteers to help sort the sorts at the end of the donation phase.    

Box/Barrel Monitor Role:  Pick up the box at Shirley Phelan's house from November 10th -14th.  Take to merchant.  You are respnsible to check the box once a week or more if full, take to the temporary storage.  The final day for pick-up is December 10 or the moring of December 11.   We encourage members to do at least 4 locations.  Perhaps partner up to share pick-ups.  The more volunteers the less number of locations!   (last year we had 55 locations!) Shirley will be contacting the box monitors for assignments. Please contact her with any questions at 415-823-5331.

Sorting Toys:  We need volunteers to sort the toys.  This is fun so please sign up for a slot to help.    The CHP will transport the toys to the old Middle School gym, 11603 Donner Pass Road.
