Snow bibs & Jackets 18 months-3 years old gender neutral colors.
Toddler toys/ activities
Baby/ toddler feeding supplies. Bottles, plates, zippy cups, pacifiers, tethers, and utensils.
Safety kits
Health kits thermometers etc.
Baby soap, diaper cream
Sleep sacs and swaddles  for 0-18months
Diapers size 1-5
In of need of Boy clothing 18 months-3years old
Clothing 0-3 years old
Potty training underwear
Large size books
Gift cards for groceries
Socks and shoes for toddlers size 4-7
No we are still stocked up on blankets. We don’t need more at this time.

SITD will host a Sex Trafficking informational program meeting to educate our members on this issue and how we can help. Speakers include Melissa Holland from Awaken and Andrea Chapman from Sierra Community House. Please join us to learn more about this important topic. Feel free to invite family and friends!

Members and guests can also order lunch at the Red Truck before the program or stay afterward and have lunch with other members.

Our annual signature event to honor women and girls in our community is the Celebrating the Best for Women on April 27th - new date. We will be honoring our Woman of the Year, Megan Seifert, Headwaters Science Institute, and celebrating our Live Your Dream Winners,  the Violet Richardson awardees for high school super volunteers and Career Advancement Scholarship winners. Our keynote speaker is Kim Bateman, Dean of Sierra College. Joan and Pam are coordinators for the event.

You and your family and friends are welcome to join us for this exciting program and enjoy appetizers and dessert.

We have made Spanish and English signs with HELP phone numbers to Sierra Community House. We want to post them in Truckee where victims might see them and ask for help.

 

Please volunteer 1 hour to post signs in Truckee. We plan to meet at Wild Cherries at 10am on Saturday, May 6th. You can work alone or in a team. Each group will take an area for posting.

 

Sign up to join Chris Carol and Pam English for 1 hour. Some of you signed up at the last business meeting, but re-sign up again, so we have a solid count of volunteers.

We are so excited to be celebrating our 48th annual wine tasting event in-person this year!!! Please join us June 10th, 5-7:30 pm, Coyote Moon Golf Course, for the "oldest and best wine tasting in the region." 

Silent auction items include golf packages, local and regional vacation packages, art work, wine and alcohol selections, and so much more.  

Funds raised at this event are vital for programs we support including scholarships for college or training, youth sports programs, youth education programs, families and children in need, senior services and much more.
