49th Annual Wine & Restaurant Faire UPDATE
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE UPDATE.

We are just 2 months away from SITD’s biggest fundraiser of the year.  Since this event is an all-hands on event, we need all of you to participate at various levels to make this year’s event as successful as those in the past. Our committees have been working diligently and can use your help in the following ways.
 
SPONSORSHIPS:  We are still actively seeking Sponsors for the event. If you would like to solicit a business (or an individual) for a Sponsorship - or if you would like to be a Sponsor yourself - please see the following links which contain the registration form and an explanation of the benefits offered at each level. Note that the $250 level has been added back in this year. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to this year's Sponsorship Coordinator, Debbie Quement | cell at 707.696.8069
 
SILENT AUCTION: We are happy to report that we are well underway in collecting donation items and gift certificates for our May 10th deadline!  Many of you have been contacting the team to provide us with your donations and updates on your solicitations.  Please remember to include or email us the fully completed donor information form.  You can download and print the form from our website or fill out the online form.  There are several ways to send, drop off, or make arrangements for pickup of item(s):
  • Dickson Realty. Drop off at the bottom of Northwoods Blvd. and Donner Pass Road. Please provide the receptionist with your completed donor form(s) and the item(s)/certificates. 
  • Susan Gustavson is collecting and tracking all gift certificates. You can email Susan or call her  cell: 707-696-8069
  • Marcy Alstott is collecting all physical items and stores them at her home.  You can email Marcy or call her cell:  925-437-4125
  • Bring your items/certificates to the April 11th or May 9th monthly SITD meetings.
  • Mail certificates (ONLY) to the SITD Mailing Address:  SITD, PO Box 1423, Truckee, CA  96160
 
WINE + BEER: The list of wineries includes some former favorites as well as some new names to try.
Make sure to purchase your tickets so you don’t miss out on all these wonderful wineries and brew pubs. Here is the line up for this year’s wine and beer pours: Alibi Ale Works, Bar of America, Cooper Vineyards, Crystal Basin Cellars, Karmere Vineyards, Lava Cap Winery, Mina Mesa, Noceto Winery, One Hope Winery, Pedroncelli Winery, Pride Mountain Vineyards, and Truckee River Winery.
 
RESTAURANTS: We are still actively seeking restaurants for our event as we are just short as restaurants are usually slow to commit even though our ask is "small tasty" bites for 300 people. Our "regulars" are returning to include Bar of America, El Toro Bravo, Cornerstone Bakery, Village Pizzeria, Wild Cherries, The Lodge at Tahoe Donner, Fireside and Truckee Sourdough.

RAFFLE and EVENT TICKETS: Each SITD member is asked to sell event and raffle tickets. Tickets will be handed out at the April 11th monthly meeting or can be picked up afterwards at Dickson Realty. For more information contact Lil Schaller at 530.448.3224.
 
EVENT DAY VOLUNTEERS:  Many volunteers are needed on June 1st between noon and 4 pm to ready the event space as well throughout the event and the following morning to clean up.  Signups will be available at the April 11th monthly meeting as well as online by mid-April. Keep your eyes on your email for the signup link when it becomes available.
